William F. "Bill" McGovern

January 10, 1969 ~ January 11, 2021

William F. McGovern II, (Bill) age 52 of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma was born on January 10, 1969 to William and Karen (Steichen) McGovern in Lajes Air Base, Azores, Portugal, with his father being in the military. Billy passed away on January 11, 2021 in Oklahoma City.

Billy was found to be autistic after moving to Oklahoma City. He attended school at Cassidy School in the developmentally disabled class, with Hyacinth Wolf as his wonderful teacher. He later became a client of the Department of Human Services, after being diagnosed as severely autistic.

He lived with his parents as a youngster in Oklahoma City and later lived in his own home in the Village. He later moved to Guthrie, living on his own following his parents move to Guthrie. For the past nine years he was a resident of Grace Living Wilshire, receiving excellent care. "MAY GOD BE GOOD TO HIM."

Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Hayes Funeral Home.

Friends and family may sign the online guestbook at www.hayesfh.com.
