Cecil Bruce McGee

June 22, 1935 ~ April 24, 2008

Cecil Bruce "Sweet Pea" McGee son of Leo Edward and Rhoda Lillian (Bigby) McGee was born on June 22, 1935 in Stilwell, Oklahoma and departed this life to be with our Lord on April 24, 2008 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 72 years, 10 months and 2 days.

Cecil worked in the Pipeline Business for many years. He was also a 32nd Degree Mason. He enjoyed the duties that followed his role of a very loving, father and grandfather to his family.

He loved to hunt arrowheads and was fortunate to have found several. Some of his other favorite hobbies including hunting, fishing, and giving everyone a hard time.

He was preceded in death by his father; Leo McGee, grandparents; Boyd and Nannie (Waters) McGee, Arthur and Violet (Rider) Bigby, and 2 sisters; Wanda Jean Mitchell and Nannette McGee.

He is survived by a very loving family that includes his daughters; Tara Anderson and husband Joe, Lorrie Ann McGee, his mother; Rhoda Lillian McGee, 2 brothers; Jim McGee and wife Betty, Lewis McGee and wife Melinda all of Stilwell, OK, 5 grandchildren; Eric Daniel Higgins of Tulsa, OK, Alex Payton McGee, Delaney Rae McGee, Tyler Wade and Tommy "Jack" Anderson all of Stilwell, OK. A very special friend; David Roberts of Evansville, AR, several other relatives and many friends also survive him.

Funeral services were held Monday, April 28, 2008 in the Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Chapel with James Dean Bokovay officiating.
