A Celebration of Life service for Chip McFarland, age 65, of Enid, will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 19, 2022, at Emmanuel Enid.

The family will receive friends Friday, March 18, 2022, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home

 A Celebration of Life Service for Chip McFarland age 65 of Enid will be 2:00 pm Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Emmanuel Enid with Dr. Shonn Keels and Rev. Wade Burleson officiating. The family will receive friends Friday, March 18, 2022 at the funeral home from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm. Cremation and service arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Morris (Chip) Ralph McFarland, Jr. was born August 27, 1956 in Houston, TX to Morris Ralph and Willa Iris (Snow) McFarland and passed away at Select Specialty Hospital in Oklahoma City on March 6, 2022. He grew up in the Houston area graduating from Conroe High School in 1974. He attended Baylor University where he played college baseball and later transferred to Sam Houston University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in finance. He moved to Enid in 2012 and married Jacki Claycomb on March 31, 2012 in Enid. Chip became an insurance agent and opened McFarland Insurance Agency in 2013. Chip always had a smile on his face and was known for his ability to make people laugh. Chip never met a stranger. He loved his Houston Astros and enjoyed playing golf. He was a member of Emmanuel Enid.

Chip is survived by his wife Jacki of the home, son Clark McFarland, his bonus children; Jackson Anderson, Jett Nixon and husband Garron, Jayci Anderson, and Jake Anderson, sister Jana and husband Hal White, mother-in- law, Phyllis Claycomb, sisters and brothers-in-law; Joni and Richard Loughridge, Johnny and Terri Claycomb, Connie Perales, Tommy McFarland, Judy McFarland and several nieces, nephews and a multitude of friends that will miss him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Wayne McFarland, and sister Lynn McFarland.

Memorials may be made to RSVP or Bennie’s Barn of Enid with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the funds.
