Vickie L. McDonald, 67, of Medicine Lodge, Kansas, died Tuesday, November 10, 2020.

She was born on June 19, 1953, in Hardtner, Kansas, the daughter of Norman Long and Doris (Griem) Long. On September 30, 1972, she married Robert "Bob" McDonald. He survives.

Vickie was a homemaker and co-owner of Bob's Roustabout. She was a member of the First Christian Church, Medicine Lodge, Kansas.

Surviving in addition to her husband, Bob McDonald, are two sons, Jon (Angela) McDonald and Luke McDonald, all of Medicine Lodge, Kansas; one daughter, Lynda McDonald of Medicine Lodge, Kansas; eight grandchildren, Dylan, Evan, Haedan and Nathan McDonald, Cassidy and Daxton Brown, and Sierra and Adler McDonald; three great-grandchildren, Charlotte, Caroline and Cayne McDonald; one brother, Jim Long of Tulsa.

Vickie was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Doris Long, and by two brothers, Grant and George Long.

Graveside services were held on Saturday, November 14, 2020, at 10:30 a.m. at the Highland Cemetery, Medicine Lodge, Kansas, with Pastor Tom Walters officiating.

Memorials may be made to the American Legion Post 69 in care of the funeral home.
