Mary "Joyce" (Jones) McDonald
August 4, 1939 ~ February 19, 2022

The graveside service for Mary "Joyce" McDonald, 82-year-old Enid resident, is 2 p.m. Thursday at Bayou Mason Church, Lake Village, Arkansas, under direction of Bishop Funeral Home. Local arrangements are under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.

Mary was born August 4, 1939, in Choudrant, LA, to General Goldman Jones and Merle Edwina (Griffin) Jones and died Saturday, February 19, 2022, in Enid.

Mary attended Lakeside High School in Lake Village, Arkansas; then Draughon's Business College In Memphis, TN. She then worked as a secretary at McGregors, Inc., and at Woodson-Bozman Wholesale Co., in Memphis from 1958 to 1970.

On June 10, 1965, she married Paul Jerry McDonald. They were married for 42 years. She also worked at Wilmot City Hall, 1975-1977, until they relocated to Odessa, TX, where she helped out periodically in the office at Leamco.

After that, she kept busily keeping her life and those of her family going along smoothly and in proper order.

She is survived by her Children Paul Jerry McDonald Jr. and Jennifer Dawn Kelley; 2 grandsons, Ransom Luke McDonald and Canyon James McDonald; one granddaughter, Kayla Dawn Kelley; one sister, Mildred Dallas; as well as numerous Nieces, Nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her Parents; her Husband; two brothers, Laurence Jones and his wife Barbara and Roy Jones.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
