Rickie Lee McDavid Sr.
August 9, 1955 ~ September 14, 2020

Rickie Lee McDavid Sr. passed away on September 14, 2020. Rickie was born on August 9, 1955, in Waxahachie, Texas, to his mother, Dorothy (Gowan) McDavid and his father Jessie Lee McDavid.

He attended some college and was a welder by trade but when he was not working Rickie really enjoyed spending quality time with his grandkids. When he wanted to relax you could find him fishing, fixing his 65 Chevy, watching OSU Cowboys football, Lakers basketball, or golfing. He liked helping those who were in need and he attended the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Rickie is preceded in death by his father Jessie Lee McDavid, his mother Dorothy (Gowan) McDavid, his brothers Robert McDavid, Raymond McDavid, Richard McDavid, Billie Ray McDavid and Dennis McDavid, his sisters Cora Ann McDavid and Florene Johnson.

He is survived by his brothers Dunk McDavid, Alvin McDavid, sister Tobither McDavid, children Rickie McDavid Jr., Jessica McDavid of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Stephanie McDavid of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Timothy McDavid of Scottsbluff, Nebraska, William McDavid of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Kelvin McDavid of Savannah, Georgia, Q’lease McDavid of Heron California, Chris McDavid of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Frank McDavid of Oklahoma City. Oklahoma and Rickie McDavid III of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 20 grandchildren, a host of nieces and a host of nephews. Rickie will be missed by many.
