Patricia Ann (Pruitt) McCuddy

February 15, 1934 ~ March 4, 2009

Patricia Ann McCuddy, 75, of Choctaw, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at her home. Pat was born February 15, 1934 in Warner, Oklahoma to Milton Edgar and Floe Marie (Hales) Pruitt.

Pat married Donald McCuddy on December 30, 1949 in Chandler, Oklahoma. They made their home in Midwest City until 1964 when they moved to Madill, Oklahoma and purchased the Little Glasses Resort on Lake Texoma. With plenty of fun to be had and even more work to be done, it was said Pat had a tendency to outwork and out fish just about any one. (This includes the 'guys'.) Although competitive, Pat was an extraordinarily giving individual. She had the ability to take 'nothing' and make it into something 'beautiful'. This is demonstrated by the numerous crocheted items on display in the various homes of her family and friends. A competitor and craftsman and lover of her family and friends, Pat will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, JoAnn Lea.

She is survived by: her husband, Donald of the home; Children: Kenneth McCuddy, Patty Ray, Johnny McCuddy and Cheryl Davis; grandchildren: Dennis Self, Jonathan Brown, James, Jason and Justin McCuddy, Steven and Mark Ray, Amber and Josh McCuddy; great grandchildren: Kaitlyn and Mark Allen, Andrew Ray and Jamie McCuddy; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
