Clara Lee McCray
Jan. 26, 1936 ~ 2013

Service for Clara Lee McCray, 77, of Hunter, Okla., will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013, at Hunter Christian Church, with Pastor George Lupton officiating.

Clara was born Jan. 26, 1936, in Waldron, Ark., where she grew up on a farm.

In 1950, she moved to California and in 1959, she

met the love of her life, Virgil McCray, and on Dec. 4, 1960, they were married in Carson City, Nev. Virgil was a career Navy man, which afforded them many travels. He retired after 30 years of service, and in August 1997, they made Hunter their home. Clara was a loving housewife who loved the Lord. Survivors include her husband, Virgil of the residence, two children, five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
