George S. McCoy

George S. McCoy
May 8, 1947 - May 8, 2020 (73 years old)

Born May 8th 1947- and Celebrated his 73rd birthday in Heaven on May 8, 2020

George was born and raised in Blackwell Oklahoma. George worked many different jobs. He worked for the Senior Citizen center here in Blackwell for about three years as a handy man and a jack of all trade. George also mowed lawns for Larry Larimore for many years and loved doing yard work for the community. George loved people and always wanted to be helping them. George was a big OU fan and loved to watch them play football.

George was always willing to help at any event such as the fair, and especially at his church Blackwell First Church of the Nazarene. George helped decorate for special events at the church such as Christmas, VBS, Trunk or Treat and Wednesday night dinners. George will be missed dearly by his friends and community.

George, is survived by his wife of 49 years, Donna McCoy and his loving companion and friend his dog Romeo.

A memorial service will be planned at a later date @ Blackwell First Church of the Nazarene.
