Sharon Kay McCasland

Sharon Kay McCasland
November 22, 1945 ~ July 10, 2019 (age 73)

Sharon Kay McCasland passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, July 10th, 2019. She is survived by her children Synthia Campbell of Blanchard, Fera Terrell of Ponca City, Kristina Valentino of Norman, and Nicholas Shokat of Norman. She was able to see each of her children married and with children of their own, her beloved grand and great-grand children.

Sharon worked for the State of Oklahoma for 40 years, helping many people conquer their addictions to drugs and alcohol. She was a saving grace to many people, and she always showed compassion for those who were struggling. She loved her family fiercely. Sharon was a good person, an even greater friend, and an even better mother. She will be missed dearly.

A come-and-go memorial reception in her honor will be held on Saturday, August 3rd, 2019 from 12pm to 3pm at 1707 Crown Point Ave in Norman, Oklahoma. Please come by to pay your respects and share stories of our loving mother and friend.
