A private memorial service for Donald Garwood McCarron, 88, of Enid, will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home & Crematory.

Donald Garwood McCarron pass away Sunday May 5th 2019. Donald was born May 17th 1930 to James R and Edna Clair Garwood McCarron in Topeka Kansas.

He moved to Enid Oklahoma with his parents in 1937. Donald was honorable discharged from the USAF in August 1954. He retired from the Oklahoma Publishing Company in OKC 1988 and moved back to Enid. Then he drove a tour bus for 20 plus years.

Don was preceded in death by his parents J. R. and Edna McCarron, his wife Rosemary White McCarron, his son James Donald McCarron and daughter Susan Carol McCarron Baumann.

He is survived by 3 grandchildren Christine Carol McCarron, OKC, Toby Don McCarron OKC, and Amy Baumann Burrows & her husband Matt Burrows Eufaula OK; 9 great grandchildren Austin & Brady Bateman, Kylie Walker & Makell Walker, Seagar &Lennon Azlin, Colby McCarron, twins Christian & Sage McCarron, 6 great great grandchildren Rylan & Ellaina Walker, Marcus & Zaiden Walker, Cooper & James Bateman.
