July 16, 1945 ~ December 11, 2023

Judy McAdoo, 78 year old Mooreland resident passed away, Monday, December 11, 2023 in Vici surrounded by her family. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 am Friday, December 15, 2023 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Donnetta Hunter officiating.

Judy Karol (Nichols) McAdoo was born July 16, 1945 to James and Dorothy (Smith) Nichols in Gas City, Kansas. Judy grew up on the home place north of Mooreland. She attended Mooreland schools and later received her GED in 1987.

Judy worked as a school bus driver for many years. She often enjoyed wine tasting, dancing and listening to music. Seeing and spending time with good friends and her grandchildren and great grandchildren brought her the most joy. Her family is what she loved most.

Judy is survived by three daughters, Deonna Jones of Woodward; Johnna Thornton and husband Tom of Springfield, Illinois; Deana McAdoo of Mooreland; brother Jarel Hansen and wife Linda of Checotah, Oklahoma; sister, Veda Gonser of Cashion, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren: Natalie George, John William Thornton, Kaylon Thornton, Matthew Eide, Logan Thornton, Trevor Elliott, Rebeka Jones, Ty Elliott; five great grandchildren, Trevin, Elizibeth, Preston, Beaux, Walker; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, brothers Jesse Croisant, Deon Croisant, sister Lena Long, and her maternal grandparents.
