Justin Alton Mayo
September 24, 1982 ~ May 31, 2014

Justin Alton Mayo was born on September 24, 1982 in Mesa, AZ to Dennis and Vickie (Hoy) Mayo. He was called to his Heavenly home on May 31, 2014 in Lawton, OK.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at Lawton First Assembly with Pastors David Lermy, Don Barnes and Gary Pratt, officiating.

Visitation with family present will be on Friday from 5:30-7:30 PM at Whinery-Huddleston Funeral Home. A memorial service will also be held at 2:00 PM on June 21, 2014 in Mesa, AZ at the City of Grace Church.

Justin was raised in a military family and completed most of his education in Mesa, AZ.

While in school, he also spent time with his family in Wiesbaden, Germany and Indiahoma.

Justin returned to the Lawton Area on a permanent basis in 2012 where he became active at Lawton First Assembly. He was a member of Young Adult Ministries, Singles Ministries, Valet Ministry, and as a Sunday school teacher for junior high boys.

Justin worked at several professions, but was a natural in sales and had most recently been employed selling bedding.

He will live in everyone's memory as being full of life, having never met a stranger and willing to help anyone in need, and possessed a servant's heart. His pride has always been his children.

Survivors include two daughters, Destiney Mayo and Mariah Mayo; a son, Alton Mayo; his parents, Vickie Hoy of Mesa, AZ and Dennis Mayo and wife Cathy of Indiahoma; brothers, Dennis Mayo, Jr. and wife Heather of Harker Heights, TX, and Tim Worcester of Indiahoma; sisters, Leah Hamacher and husband Francisco of Gilbert, AZ, Amber Kendall and Leslie Williams, both of Lawton; grandparents, George and Victoria Hoy of Mesa, AZ, and Wallace and Betty Mayo of Scottsdale, AZ; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, his LFA church family, and friends galore. Justin was preceded in death by a brother, Matthew Mayo.
