Judy Darlene (Allen) Mayes
August 18, 1954 ~ March 13, 2022

Judy Darlene Mayes, 67, of Marietta, OK, passed away on March 13, 2022 at Elmbrook Home in Ardmore, OK. She was born on August 18, 1954, in Duncan, OK to Fred Alonzo and Frances H. (Fruitrich) Allen.

Judy was a lifelong area resident and a 1973 graduate of Marietta High School. She worked as a tire builder for Uniroyal in Ardmore. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Marietta. Judy enjoyed reading, crocheting, and working outside planting flowers in her garden and mowing her yard. She loved caring for her dog Buddy.

In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her nephew, Brad Allen.

Judy is survived by her daughters, Misty Thacker of Marietta and Susan Barna of Marietta; husband, Jake Mayes of Marietta; brothers, Richard Allen and wife Sue of Ardmore, Jerry Allen and wife Ester of Dumas, TX, and Gary Allen and wife Lorretta of Krebs, OK; special friend Trina Wells of Marietta; grandchildren, Clinton Cain, Cheyenne Thacker, Brock Barna and fiancé Tatyaina Marshall, Sydney Barna, and Megan Barna; great-grandchildren, Ryan Cain, Lukas Cain, and Liam Barna; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial service to celebrate Judy’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 18, 2022, at the Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home & Cremation Services Chapel of Marietta with Lawrence Anderson officiating.

Honorary bearers are Weldon Lee, James Lee, Clinton Cain, Brock Barna, Zach Mann, and Johnny Adams.
