Samuel Alan May

Samuel Alan May
May 2, 1954 ~ June 30, 2023

Samuel Alan May, 69, was born May 2, 1954 in Enid, Oklahoma to Kenneth Rankin and Laura Belle (Sears) May and passed away June 30, 2023 at the Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Alan grew up in Fairview, Oklahoma where he attended school. His steadfast desire for independence, even at an early age, was sometimes a challenge. In his youth he liked to disassemble things to see how they worked. His successful attempts at reassembly gave him an aptitude and love for repairing things that became a benefit to the churches and people who assisted him. Alan lived moment to moment, in his own way, helping others and the churches.

Alan is survived by his daughter, Laura May, his three sons, Christopher Morrison, Samuel May Jr., and C. Michael May, 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He is also survived by his brother, K. R. May, and sister, Patricia Casteel.

He was preceded by his grandparents, Roy and Marie May and Sam and Viva Sears, his parents, Kenneth and Laura Belle May, and his sons, Jackson and Jesse May.

A memorial service was held June 30, 2023 at the WWJD Church in Oklahoma City, OK.. Arrangements were made by Fairview Funeral Home, Inc.
