Dennis Neal Maxwell
November 2, 1947 ~ Jul. 11, 2016

Services for Dennis Neal Maxwell, 68, Enid, will be held on Monday, July 18, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Blackwell, with President Hardey officiating. Military honors will be conducted by the United States Marine Corps. Arrangements are under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service and Cremation Directors.

Dennis was born on November 2, 1947 in Boston, Massachusetts, the son of Lewellyn Jay and Alice Elizabeth Shulokian Maxwell, and passed away peacefully at his residence on July 11, 2016. He was raised in Boston, graduating from Hyde Park High School with the class of 1965. Dennis served his country in the United States Marine Corps, serving two duties in Vietnam. He was a real estate broker for years, later becoming an over the road truck driver.

Dennis married Renee Lynn Brown in Eureka Springs, Arkansas on November 12, 2010.

He was a member of the American Legion, Disabled American Veterans, and a member of the Masonic Lodge.

Survivors include his wife, Renee of the residence; sisters, Gloria Jean Johnson of Ponca City, Angela Vita Johnson of Stoughton, Massachusetts; niece, Leah Kayajanian of Los Angeles, California.

Dennis was preceded in passing by his parents, nephew, Neil Kayajanian.

The family has requested, instead of flowers, memorial remembrances may be made in Dennis' memory to St. Jude's Children"s Hospital.
