Jimmy Randall Maxfield
September 30, 1946 ~ August 19, 2022

Jimmy Randall Maxfield, 75, of Ponca City, OK, left this life on August 19, 2022. Jimmy was born on September 30, 1946 in Big Stone Gap, VA. He married Penelope Robinson on July 15, 1967, in England. He was a military police officer, a Vietnam veteran and retired from the United States Air Force as a Senior Master Sergeant. After retirement, Jimmy spent 20 years as a truck driver. He was a NASCAR fan and liked to shoot, hunt and fish. Jimmy loved his dogs and animals, his garden, and most of all, his wife.

Jimmy is survived by: his wife, Penelope; his sister, Barbara Brown of Kingsport, TN; nephews, Danny Brown and his wife, Karen, of Johnson City, TN, David Brown of Knoxville, TN, Max Hume and his wife, Barbara, of England; niece, Sherri Carrier of Tulsa, OK, as well as several nieces and nephews in England. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Bessie Maxfield and two sisters, Judy Fildes and Mary Macys.

A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at 2:00PM, Thursday, August 25, 2022, at Trout Funeral Home Chapel, with Vicar Barbara Hume officiating. Those unable to attend the Funeral Ceremony, may attend virtually on the Trout Funeral Home website, www.troutfuneralhome.com and click on the live-stream or toolbar icon on the top right corner after 1:45PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W. Grand Ave., Ponca City, OK, 74601.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Northern Oklahoma Humane Society, 900 W Prospect Ave, Ponca City, OK 74601.
