Lee Roy Mathis

Lee Roy Mathis
October 18, 1945 ~ July 4, 2019

Lee Roy Mathis, age 73, a Coalgate resident. He was born on October 18, 1945, to J.D. & Venus May (Smallwood) at Atoka, OK. Lee passed away on July 04, 2019 at his home in Atoka County. Lee Roy attended & graduated from Wapanucka High School & than attended Okmulgee Technical School for Automatics. He owned & operated his own body shop in Coalgate. Lee Roy was rancher & farmer. He proudly served in the United States Army, serving in the Vietnam War. Lee Roy was of the Baptist faith. He won a Star farmer award with the FFA. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bargain shopping and westerns.

Lee Roy is survived Nephews; John Lee Mathiis, Allen Mathis, Niece;Dianna Jones, Along with many friends
