Helen June (Wiley) Maston
July 8, 1940 ~ December 24, 2023

Helen June (Wiley) Maston was born on July 8, 1940 to Clifton and Mamie Wiley in Stigler, Oklahoma. She passed from this life on December 24, 2023 at her home in Shawnee, Oklahoma with her family by her side.

She grew up in Stigler and graduated from Stigler High School. Then she attended Muskogee Vocational School in Muskogee, Oklahoma and obtained her LPN degree. She worked her entire life as a nurse. The last 35 years of her career, she worked at Shawnee Care Center. Helen married the love of her life, Jimmy Maston on February 20, 1965. She had many hobbies which included cross-word puzzles and watching westerns. Her favorite was to spend time with her family, especially her grandson, Tyler Mosley and his daughter, Jalyn Mosley.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James “Jimmy” Maston; her parents, Clifton and Mamie Wiley; and one brother, Kenneth Wiley.

Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Lana Maston and Lorie Maston; her grandson, Tyler Mosley; her great-granddaughter, Jalyn Mosley; one brother, Leonard and wife Phyllis Wiley; and one sister, Laura and husband Eddy Ware, along with other family and friends.

The family would like to thank the Heartland Hospice of Shawnee, Oklahoma for all the wonderful care they gave to Helen. Memorials may be made in memory of Helen, to the American Cancer Society, 8400 Silver Crossing, Oklahoma City, OK 73132.
