Javier Najera Martinez

BLACKWELL - On July 7, 2013, Javier Najera Martinez was called back to heaven after a short battle with cancer. Javier was born May 5, 1970, in Jimenez Chihuahua, Mexico, but lived his last 18 years in Blackwell, Okla., where he met his wife Stacey.

Javier is survived by his wife, Stacey; four daughters, Angelica Sotelo, Ireya Calderon, Yadira Najera and Brissa Najera; son, Martin Calderon; two grandchildren, Niko and Nesaya Sotelo; mother, Tomasa Martinez; father, Celso; two sisters, Blanca and Karla; two brothers, Oscar and Manuel; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral mass was held at St. Joseph Catholic Church of Blackwell. Committal prayers and interment will be in Javier's hometown of Jimenez Chihuahua, Mexico, under the kind guidance of Stittsworth Funeral Service.
