Lisa (Thomas) Martindale
June 27, 1956 ~ January 30, 2019

Lisa Martindale, former Chandler, Oklahoma, resident was born June 27, 1956, in Flora, Illinois, and departed this life January 30, 2019, in Ada, Oklahoma, at the age of 62 years.

Lisa was the daughter of Lowell and Betty Lou (Holcomb) Thomas. She married Don Ed Martindale on March 28, 1986, at the First United Methodist Church in Guymon, Oklahoma. Lisa worked as a nurse for many years. She was a member of the Chandler First Christian Church and PEO. Lisa enjoyed kayaking, going to the lake and the mountains, spending time in Santa Fe and Taos, and loved animals.

Her parents preceded Lisa in death.

Survivors include her husband, Don Ed of the home; two sons and daughter-in-law, Kris and wife Teresa of Amarillo, Texas, and Tucker of Enid, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Paityn, Ellie, and Eliza; one brother and sister-in-law, Lowell Jr. and Judy Thomas of Duncan, Oklahoma; two sisters and brother-in-law, Jonnie and Randy Bacher of Enid, Oklahoma, Phyllis and Keith Duncan of Chandler; half brother, Robert Thomas of Arizona, other relatives and many friends.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the nursing program at Central Tech Drumright Campus, 3 CT Circle, Drumright, Oklahoma, 74030.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, February 6, 2019, at the First Christian Church in Chandler with Pastor Christine Pomaville officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
