Wanda Jo (Reed) Martin

Wanda Jo (Reed) Martin
February 17, 1941 ~ November 29, 2021 (age 80)

Wanda Jo Martin was born February 17th, 1941 to George and Lillie (Hill) Reed in Nashville, Arkansas. She passed away November 29th, 2021 at her home in Agra at the age of 80.

Wanda grew up in Nashville, Arkansas, where she was a member of the high school drill and dance team, the Scrapper Belles. After graduating from high school, she moved to Texas and was a model for Halston’s department store. She married James T. Martin, Jr. on September 25th, 1960 in Arkansas.

Wanda’s hobbies included painting, sewing, bible study, tacking quilts at church, and spending time with family and friends. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Agra, Oklahoma. She was also a member of HCE since 1991.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, George Gray and Lillie Cleo Reed; brothers, Thomas R. Reed, David E. Reed, and Jerry I. Reed. Survivors include her son, James T. Martin III and his wife Donna of Chandler, Oklahoma; (2) granddaughters, Amber L. Marley of Agra, and Brittany N. Johnson of Oklahoma City; (6) great-grandchildren, RJ, Brian, Addie, and Jaxson Hamm of Agra, Gabbie Marley of Agra, and Tre Tucker of Oklahoma City.

The family has asked that, in lieu of flowers, please donate to the First Baptist Church of Agra Fellowship Hall, or to the Osage cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home.
