Victor Allen “Vic” Martin

Victor Allen “Vic” Martin, age 60 of Guthrie, Oklahoma passed away on April 4, 2019 in Oklahoma City. He was born on November 21, 1958 in Wapakoneta, Ohio to John and Betty (Kimmel) Martin.

Vic moved to Guthrie in 2011 from Stillwater. He worked in the roofing industry. He enjoyed spending time with his family and watching TV (some of his favorite shows included Jeopardy! and The Ellen DeGeneres Show just to name a few).

Survivors include his daughter Chrissy Moore and husband Robbie of Guthrie, son Benjamine Thompson of Guthrie, sister Joyce Sheipline and husband Donnie of Wapakoneta, Ohio, brother Johnny Martin and wife Becky of Wapakoneta, Ohio, grandchildren Johnathon Thompson, Tyler Slavens, Dylan Martin, and Tucker Moore, and girlfriend Carolyn Pierce of Guthrie. Vic was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Karen Pack and Jean Scheneider, and brother Bob Martin.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at the home of his daughter, 3780 E. Seward Road in Guthrie.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
