Cameron Chase Martin

October 18, 1984 ~ September 29, 2008

Cameron Chase Martin, my most precious and beloved son, was born Thursday, October 18, 1984, in Irving, Texas, to William Gaston Martin and Joyce Ann Kropp Cothran.

He passed away Monday, September 29, 2008 in Lancaster, Texas, at the age of 23 years.

He was a longtime resident of Lancaster and Dallas area.

He married Leigh Turner in June 2005 at Lancaster, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Martin, and grandfather, James Kropp.

He is survived by his spouse, Leigh Martin of Desoto, Texas; mother, Joyce Kropp Cothran of Caddo; brother, Barry Martin of Flower Mound, Texas; sister, Rhonda Martin of Dallas; step-brother, Sam Cothran of Durant; step-sister, Elizabeth Cothran and Bill of Mesquite, Texas; step-sister, Lisa Montgomery and David of Denison, Texas; sister-in-law, Tracie Cothran of Caddo; grandmother, Kathleen Kropp of Durant; aunt, Wanda Trapp and husband Glenn of Durant; uncle, David Kropp and wife Maria of Edmond; uncle, Stan Kropp and wife Maggie of Denison, Texas; numerous cousins, nephews and friends.

A memorial service for Cameron Martin will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Victory Life Church {Chapel} in Durant. Tim McEntire, John Verrill, George and Leslie Shaw and Harvey Smith will be officiating.
