Thomas Martin Marshall, Sr.
November 12, 1941 ~ April 28, 2025

Thomas Martin Marshall, Sr. passed away on Thursday, May 1, 2025, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, at the age of 83. He was born on November 12, 1941, in Allegan, Michigan.

Thomas spent his early years in Michigan before moving to Oklahoma as a young man. He worked for a time at Will Rogers Downs, where he met his future wife, Wanda Lavern Tucker. They were united in marriage on April 20, 1967, in Claremore, Oklahoma, and shared nearly 51 wonderful years together until Wanda’s passing on March 12, 2018.

A dedicated truck driver, Thomas spent more than 55 years on the road, traveling across the country. He had a deep appreciation for the open road and the independence his career provided. When not behind the wheel, Thomas enjoyed collecting guns and was an avid fan of T.V. Westerns. In his younger years, he especially loved reading Western novels. He will be remembered for his generous nature and his sensitivity toward others.

Thomas is survived by: 4 children: Robin Marshall of Sacramento, California, Teresa Tally and husband Tom of Coweta, Oklahoma, Jeff Marshall and wife Stormy of Locust Grove, Oklahoma, and Marty Marshall of Locust Grove, Oklahoma; 6 grandchildren: Noah Stamps, Rachel Anaya, Daniel Trone, David Marshall, Piper Marshall, and Dravin Marshall; 10 great grandchildren; several brothers including: Billy Marshall, Harold Marshall, Eric Wilson, and Robert Marshall; several sisters including: Ann Beaudry, Linda Marshall, and Donna Marshall. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, and several brothers and sisters.

No formal services will be held. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Locust Grove Funeral Home.
