Billy Marshall

October 22, 1962 ~ July 27, 2013

Memorial services for Billy Marshall, 50, of Marietta, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 3 at the Willis Baptist Church, Willis with Pastor Barry Williams officiating.

Born October 22, 1962 in Sherman, Texas, the son of William and Dorothy Henry Marshall, he died Saturday, July 27, 2013 in Mercy Hospital in Ardmore.

Mr. Marshall had been a resident of Marietta for the past two years, previously making his home in Gordonville, Texas. A 1982 graduate of Whitesboro, Texas High School, Billy enjoyed playing high school football. He worked in construction as a painter, Billy loved music, fishing and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He also loved his dogs, Willie and Angel. Billy and Rena Fulton were married in Marietta on October 8, 2011. He was of the Baptist faith.

Preceding him in death were his mother, Dorothy Marshall; a sister, Darla Marshall; a brother Eddie Marshall and a nephew, Clint Marshall.

Survivors include his wife, Rena Marshall of the home; his father and stepmother, William and Betty Marshall of Gordonville; his mother-in-law, Dixie Fulton of Tecumseh; a stepdaughter, Reca Magee and Brandon Lott of Marietta; two brothers, Gary Marshall of Sadler, Texas and Bobby Marshall of California; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jim and Tina Fulton of Shawnee; seven stepgrandchildren, Ryan, Zoey, Jade, Aden, Jaxon, Kasen and Nevaeh; special friends, Jimmy and Carol Jackson of Willis and numerous nieces and nephews.
