A memorial service for Jimmie Dale Marcum, 75, of Ada will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at Memorial Park Cemetery, Rev. Earl Hood will officiate.
Mr. Marcum passed away Thursday, September 14, 2023 in Oklahoma City. He was born May 1, 1948 in Pauls Valley, OK to Oscar Earl and Opal Fannie Hankins Marcum.
Mr. Marcum served in the United States Army and proudly served his country on the front lines of the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his two sons, Eddy Marcum and wife Rhonda of Francis and Virgil Davis of Ada; three daughters, Sonja Hodge and husband Jamie of Ada, Tracy Marcum and Terry Grant of Ada, and Tennille Page, of Stratford; sister, Janell Dismuke, of Pauls Valley; step-daughter, Stacy Davis of Ada; 10 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; his former wife, Velma Carter; and other loving relatives and friends.
Mr. Marcum is preceded in death by his parents; step-mom, Bernice Marcum; wife, Mary; uncles, David and Ollen; and aunt, Essie.
