David Charles Marcrum Jr.

August 25, 1971 ~ July 08, 2019

Memorial service for David Charles Marcrum Jr., 47, of Edmond, Oklahoma will be held Saturday, July 13, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at the Waterloo Church of Christ in Edmond, OK. The Reverend Darrell Edwards will officiate. Cremation arrangements are by Fairview Funeral Home Inc.

David Charles Marcrum Jr. was born on August 25, 1971, in Riverside, California to David Charles and Sarah (Reddick) Marcrum. He was raised by his foster parents, Harvey and Alfrieda Stow from the age of twelve years. The family lived in Modesto, California where David attended school. David was blessed with three children, Shelbi, Brandon and Mary. He was involved in a motorcycle accident in 1991 which left him permanently disabled. He moved to Enid, Oklahoma and then to Fairview where he studied welding at Northwest Vo-Tech. In 2002 he met April Nightengale and they were married on February 16, 2007 in Canton, Oklahoma. The couple moved to Edmond, Oklahoma in 2011 where they purchased a home. David was an active member of the Waterloo Church of Christ. He enjoyed fishing, Nascar and being on a bowling league and also loved being an Uncle and spoiling his nephews.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of the home, April, his parents;Harvey and Alfrieda Stow and Sarah Marcrum, children, Shelbi Cabrera, Brandon Marcrum and Mary Marcrum, two sisters; Patty Merchant and Missy Marcrum, foster sister; Paige Stow and two foster brothers; Steve Stow and Donny Stow, eight grandchildren, nieces, nephews, Sister-in-laws; Renae Hadley and Kaycie Hardin, and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, David Charles Marcrum Sr. and mother and father in-law; Eugene and Dawn Nightingale.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Waterloo Church of Christ with the funeral home acting as custodian of the funds.
