Jeffrey Alan Marburger
March 14, 1966 ~ February 25, 2022

Jeffrey Alan Marburger, age 55, of Norman, Oklahoma was the son of Frank and Jan (Golden) Marburger. He was born March 14, 1966 in Kansas City, MO and passed away on Friday, February 26, 2022 at Norman Regional Hospital, in Norman, OK.

Jeff grew up in Perry and graduated from Perry High School in 1984. He furthered his education at Oklahoma State University and Southwestern Oklahoma State, earning his doctorate in Pharmacy. Jeff had careers in Pharmacy and being a landman. Jeff was passionate about music and played throughout school and later played in Perry's Great Big Band for many years. He was not only an amazing saxophone player, he also played several other instruments, including the piano. During his time at OSU, he was a member of the Cowboy Marching Band and Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity.

Jeff's greatest love was Phil and his family. He was so proud of his nieces and nephews and was their biggest fan at sporting events and other school activities. Jeff's friends were like a second family to him. He was loved by many and he was always inquiring about what was happening in their lives. He never hesitated to help others and was often looked to for sound advice. He had a kind soul and his sense of humor was infectious. He was loving and caring and will be dearly missed.

Jeff's hobbies included spending time with Phil, his family and friends, playing music, cooking, gardening, and cheering for OSU athletics.

Jeff is survived by his mother, Jan Marburger, life partner Phil Lupton, sister Meegan Moore, and sister Carri Smith and her husband Dustin. He is also survived by niece Candice Hogan, nephew Gage Smith and fiance Kenzee, nephew Gavin Smith, great nephews Easton Gorman, Hunter and Gunner Swartz and great niece Addison Gorman.
