Esther Louise (Galusha) Manes
May 12, 1951 ~ September 18, 2023

Esther was born May 12, 1951 to parents, Richard and Iva Del (Haworth) Galusha and passed away September 18, 2023.

Esther and her brother, Kenneth were used to large families and family get togethers with all the relatives on the weekends and holidays. Esther had fond memories of staying with her grandmother on a farm in Perry, Oklahoma and riding her horse, Clementine.

After graduating from high school she went with her grandmother to live a year in California during the time of the hippy craze and peace movement. Esther states she still has her peace beads her grandmother bought her at that time. She also traveled with the same grandmother to Tia Juana, Mexico.

Esther married Jerry Hein, July 4, 1970.

She attended Phillips University, studied Psychology, Sociology, Religion, and Art. She was eight hours short of receiving a Bachelors Degree as she had to quit due to illness.

She and her husband had three children, Stacey, Greg and Rebekah.

She has worked at the Young Blood Hotel Café, the George E. Failings Company, both in Enid, and at the Ford Motor Plant when living in Claycomo, Missouri.

Esther has always enjoyed raising flowers whenever she had the space and time. She has also enjoyed sewing (made clothing for herself and her children), crochet, art, painting, collecting coins, and loves animals.

Esther is survived by her children, Stacey Davis of Enid, Greg Hein (Amanda) of Enid, and Rebekah Schraut (Alex) of Richardson, TX. Her brother, Kenneth Galusha of Enid. 7 grandchildren; Nicholas Phelps (Skylar), John Carroll, Alyssa Carroll, Mason and Olive Schraut, and Kyleigh and Dyani Hein. 4 Great grandchildren, many cousins, and her best friend, Corla.

Esther was proceeded in death by her mother and father, and her grandparents.
