Lawanda (Tootsie) Manery was born on March 28, 1942, in Denison, TX, to William Claude and Essie Fisher. Tootsie passed away on January 25, 2026, in Kingston, OK.
Tootsie enjoyed going to garage sales and antique shopping.
Tootsie is preceded in death by her parents; William and Essie Fisher, sisters; Billie Reeves, Jimmie Reeves, and Carolyn Britton, daughter; Darla Royston, son; Chris Manry, niece; Angela Britton and many, many, pets. Mostly her dogs she dearly loved.
Tootsie is survived by her son; Ricky Manery and wife Maryann, grandchildren; Bridget, Jennifer, Marissa, Kris, Shelby Royston, Jeremy Foreman and wife Bridgette, sister; Patricia Ann “Jackie” Newton, great grandchildren; Juniper, Kale, Olivia, Carson, Haley, Cortlan, Abby, and Waylon, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Tootsie will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2026, from 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. at Brown’s Funeral Service of Durant, OK.
Services are under the direction of Brown's Durant Funeral and Cremation Services.
