Walter Wilhelm Malone

Walter Wilhelm Malone
March 17, 1943 ~ May 13, 2020 (age 77)

Walter Wilhelm Malone of Ravia passed away May 13, 2020 at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City. He was born March 17, 1943 in Germany to the late James Marion Malone and Maria (Hafele) Malone. Walter lived most of his life in Houston, Tx until moving to Ravia about 15 years ago.

Walter served in the United States Army for 20 years and spent time in Korea. On August 7, 1994, he married Sarah Louise Burt, a union that lasted almost 26 years. Walter loved building things, playing dominoes (especially Moon), camping, and barbecues with his friends. Before retiring, Walter was self-employed and owned Zippo Delivery Service.

Walter was preceded in death by his parents; and brother Stephen Malone.

He leaves behind to forever cherish his memory: wife, Sarah Malone of the home; daughters, Michele Reyes and husband Sam of Houston, Sandra Barnett of Houston, Diana Malone of Florida, and Suzy Malone of Florida; brothers, Roger Malone of Croatia, Rolf Hafele of Germany; sister, Carol Malone of Houston; grandchildren, Sam Reyes Jr., Asia Reyes, Erin Garrett, Colton Hogsett, and Amanda Hogsett. He also leaves behind four great-grandchildren and numerous other family and friends.

Services to celebrate Walter's life will be held at a later date in Houston, Tx. Online condolences may be made at tishomingofuneral.com.
