Melvin Dale Mallory
April 15, 1946 - January 5, 2017

Melvin Dale Mallory, 70, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at Oklahoma Heart Hospital. Arrangements have been entrusted to Trout Funeral Home. A celebration of his life will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday, January 13th at Trout Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplin Tom Howard Officiating.

Melvin was born on April 15, 1946 in Dodge City, KS to Harry and Georgia (Bates) Mallory. He was baptized in the Episcopal Church of Dodge City, KS. He served in the Army Reserves 6 years. He married Judy (Webb) on May 26, 1972 at Fort Dodge, KS. They have resided in Ponca City over 30 years. They both retired from Conoco in 2002. After retiring Mel joined J.D. Hanks in business, FS Ignitions, making and selling electronic ignitions for Model A Fords and other antique automobiles.

Melvin is preceded in death by his parents, his son Eric Webb and Daughter-in- law Laura Webb.

He is survived by his wife and BFF, Judy of the home, brother Don Mallory, Clinton Mo., daughter Gay Webb, Ponca City, daughter Terri Rawlings, Del City, Grandson Zachary Rawlings and Wyatt Webb, Ponca City, Great Grandson Atticus Rawlings, of Tulsa, plus extended family members.

Melvin will be greatly missed as he loved life, his family, and friends, revisiting the good "ole" days, fishing trips, motor home trips and racing adventures.
