Robert Edgar Malin Jr.

Robert Edgar Malin Jr.
February 6, 1943 ~ March 30, 2020

Robert Edgar Malin Jr. was born on February 6, 1943 in Exeter, California to Robert Edgar Sr. and Frances Leola (Stone) Malin. Robert passed from this life on Monday, March 30, 2020 in Durant, Oklahoma at the age of 77.

Robert attended school in California and later married Eva Sue Slate on January 2, 1966 in Las Vegas, NV and was blessed with 54 years of marriage until Eva’s passing on September 28, 2019. Robert proudly served his country in the United States Army and Air Force until his Honorable Discharge. Robert was a truck driver and retired after 30 plus years of driving. Robert and Eva moved to Bryan County in October 2015 from Visalia, CA. Robert enjoyed leather making and he was an avid San Francisco 49’ers. Most of all, Robert loved taking care of his sweet wife, Eva and spending time with his family.

Robert is survived by his treasured children, Deanna L. Sullivan, Melissa R. Quinn and husband Mitch, Richard B. Malin and wife Dinah and Kimberly A. Malin and husband Jr. Guerra; 15 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and one on the way and numerous extended family and friends.

A celebration for Robert will be held at a later date in California. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.brownsfuneralservice.com.

Arrangements are under the direction of Brown’s Durant Funeral and Cremation Service.
