William Anthony "Bill" Mader
October 17, 1942 ~ July 3, 2011

Memorial Service for William "Bill" Anthony Mader, 68, Enid, will be Saturday, July 9, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in Brown-Cumming Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Terry Chick officiating. Cremation will follow under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

Bill was born October 17, 1942 in Jersey City to William and Evelyn Pappan Mader and died July 3, 2011 at his home.

Bill was born and raised in New Jersey before moving to Hawthorn, California where he worked as a tow truck driver for Otasco. He moved to Enid in 1975 to be near family and worked for Bruce Willey Trucking, as a truck driver, for 38 years until retirement. He was a member of Northwestern Oklahoma Dance Association, Moose Lodge and the American Kennel Club. He was an avid Iris grower and gardener.

He is survived by his wife Carlene Forbes Mader, of the home; three children: Georgette Rene Shepard and husband Loren of Tulsa, Toni Paulette Garcia of Gage and Hellen Francis Mader of Oklahoma City; two step children: Tim Mize of Arizona and Gaylen Conley of Enid; Five Grandchildren: Derek Pacula, Jessica Pacula, Kari Tadlock, Jedidiah Tadlock and Jaimie Cook; and sister Beverly LaFanto of California.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, one brother and one step son.
