Marcus "TY" Maddox

Feb. 2, 1925 ~ Nov. 28, 2006

Marcus "TY" Maddox a Henryetta resident passed away on November 28, 2006 at the Oklahoma Veterans Center in Talahina, Ok at the age of 82. Born February 2, 1925 in Dewar,OK to Carter and Grace (Arnold) Maddox.

TY served in the US Navy during WWII and retired from the United States Postal Service as a letter Carrier for 30+ years. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints, Lifetime member of the VFW and a member of the Elks. He Married Loretta Myers on June 28, 1953 in Henryetta,Ok.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister Betty Wallace.

Survived by Wife: Loretta Maddox of the home,Daughter: Ann Corbin of Henryetta,Son: Mark Maddox of Henryetta,Grandchildren: Jennifer Carter of Owasso Jessica Eastin of Henryetta,Great Grandchildren: Logan, Jillian and Loralei Eastin,Brother: David Maddox of Tulsa,OK.

A Memorial Service will be held 2:00pm, Friday, December 1, 2006 At the Rogers Funeral Home Chapel. Services conducted by the Rogers Funeral Home.
