William Dayle Lynch

William Dayle Lynch
September 9, 1943 ~ December 7, 2022 (age 79)

William Dayle Lynch of Norman passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2022, with family members by his side. "Bill" was a graduate of Enid High School and the University of Oklahoma where he earned a bachelor's degree in architecture.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. and Mrs. Charles W. Lynch, Jr. of Enid; and sister, Dorothy Roger of Wichita, Kansas. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Emilee Kay Lynch; daughters, Cassie Kay Lynch (Nash) and Moria Gayle Harmon of Oklahoma City; son, Austin Dayle Lynch of Norman; and grandchildren, Brendan M. Nash, Emilee R. Harmon, Carson M. Nash, and William H. Harmon.

Bill served in the 45th Infantry division of the Oklahoma Army National Guard and was a founding member of Bridgeview United Methodist Church. He will be remembered fondly for his late night "life lesson" chats, coaching soccer for his younger children, regaling the family with stories he discovered during his genealogy research, and his role as loving "DadDad."
