Leroy Lynch

March 31, 1922 ~ September 12, 2005

Leroy Lynch passed away Monday, September 12, 2005 at home in Melbourne, FL.

Leroy was born on March 31, 1922, in Laverty, Grady County, Oklahoma to Daisy and Thomas J. Lynch.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mary Ellen Gayle Baxter Lynch and seven daughters; Gloria Elaine Martin and husband Wayne of Merritt Island, FL; Z. Gayle Middleton and husband John of Melbourne, FL; Linda K. Perkins and husband Darrell of Lake Milton, Ohio; Judy O'Bryant of Melbourne, FL; Phyllis J. Dickerson of Laurel, MS; Virginia Sue Lynch of Orlando, FL; Cynthia A. Russell and husband Kevin of Grafton, WI.

Predeceased by his brothers, to combat casualties, T/5 Tommie F. Lynch, U.S. Navy, WW II and F/2 Randle Ray Lynch, U.S. Navy, WW II and a son Michael Roy Lynch in 1985.

Mr. Lynch retired after 23 years service in the U.S. Army. He served in the China/Burma/India; the Korean and the Pacific Theaters.

Mr. Lynch also worked for Revco Drug Stores of Cleveland, Ohio as a fireman before moving to Melbourne where he retired from the Melbourne Water Plant and Sabal Elementary.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Vitas Innovative Hospice Care Foundation of Melbourne; 4450 W. Eau Gallie Blvd., Suite 280; Melbourne, FL 32934.
