December 27, 1951 ~ September 4, 2019 (age 67)

Karen Lynn Lynch passed from this life September 4, 2019 at the age of 67. She was born December 27, 1951 in Houston, TX to Burley and Polly Rodgers.

Karen spent the first twelve years of her life in Houston and then moved to Bethany, OK. She attended high school at Putnam City and went on to attend nursing school. Karen married the love of her life, David K. Lynch, on August 24, 1979. She worked in nursing for more than 20 years, spending time at Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City and later working for Dr. Samuel L. Wheeler.

Karen absolutely loved all movies, but her favorite was the Wizard of Oz. She also enjoyed rock music and spending time with her beloved Yorkies. She had several Yorkies over a 30 year span and loved to spoil them and make hilarious videos with them for her friends and family to watch. Above all, Karen adored her grandchildren and loved spending time with them. She enjoyed being at Lake Texoma with family and also loved the holidays. She went all-out during Christmas time and always made it a joyful time of year for those she loved.

She was preceded in passing by her parents, Burley and Polly Rodgers.

Survivors include her husband, David K. Lynch, of the home; daughter, Brandy Lynn Mosby and husband, Jeff, of Newalla; son, David Michael Lynch and wife, Amanda, of Oklahoma City; brother, Gary Rodgers and wife, Lolita, of the Phillippines; grandchildren, Brittney, Paige, Megan, Dylan, Ashley, Emma, and Willow; and great-grandchildren, Colton, Julian, Callie, and Kyrie. Karen is also survived by a host of loving extended friends and family.

Karen will be missed forever by all who knew and loved her. Private family services will be set at a later date.
