Vernon Luke Jr.

March 25, 1935 ~ July 28, 2016 (age 81)

Vernon Luke, Jr., 81 of Norman, OK passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, July 28, 2016.  Vernon was born on March 25, 1935 in Memphis, TN to Vernon and Ruth Luke. 

Vernon retired from the Meat Packing industry where he worked in Sales for many years.  He loved spending time hunting, fishing, playing golf and watching westerns. 

Vernon is survived by his wife, Fern, of the home; two sons:  Jeff Luke and wife, Julie, John Luke and wife, Shannon; one daughter, Linda Wilson and husband, Charles; two step-sons:  Tim and Jay Leisson; Grandchildren:  Claire Wilson, Nicole Kohmescher, Lance Luke, Keith Leisson, Jessica Leisson and Stephanie Leisson; one brother, Robert Luke and one sister, Deena Gordon. 

Vernon was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson, Colton Wilson. 

Per Vernon's request, there will not be any services;
