Arthur Edgar Luke, 79, of Copan, Oklahoma, died Sunday, January 19, 2020, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Art was born December 3, 1940 to parents Ralph and Cora Gertrude (Templeton) Luke in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. He graduated from College High in Bartlesville in 1959.

He worked for Phillips Petroleum Company as the seismograph crew supervisor and retired in 1986. He worked for the US Postal Service as a rural route carrier until 2004, when he retired again.

Art married Shelia Myers and the couple had one daughter, Kristi. They later divorced.

He loved calf roping and in later years, watching his grandson Trey play baseball. He also developed a love for Farmall Cub Tractors.

Art was preceded in death by his parents and sister Geraldine Luke.

He is survived by his daughter, Kristi Wood and husband Robert and grandson Trey.
