Betty Rose (Johnson) Lowrie

April 24, 1932 ~ October 19, 2009

Betty Rose Lowrie, 77 of Midwest City, passed away on Monday, Oct. 19, 2009. She was born to Levi and Ethel Mae (Ashby) Johnson on April 24, 1932 in Farwell, TX.

She did clerical/office work for most of her life. She came to Midwest City in 1955 and was a member of the Eastside Church of Christ where she was involved with the church activities. She enjoyed doing yard work and growing flowers.

Betty is survived by son Jimmy Lowrie & wife Linda, daughter Jeanne Pickett & husband Danny, 4 grandchildren: Jamie, Brian, Brittany, and Chance, 3 great grandchildren: Megan, Kate, and Abigail, and her brother Billy Johnson. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Harold.
