Edna Lavon (Herrmann) Lowery
October 13, 1955 ~ May 11, 2023

Edna Lavon Lowery was born on October 13, 1955 to Julius and Edna Nova (Butler) Herrmann in Chandler, OK. She passed away from this life on May 11, 2023 in Chandler at the age of 67.

Lavon was a very hard worker. She managed the Jiffy Trip in Chandler for over 30 years. She enjoyed fishing, spending time with her family, her beloved dogs, and collecting antiques, especially glassware.

She married Ronald Hamby on February 9, 1974 and they had a son, Michael Hamby, in 1975. She later married Randy Lowery on June 8, 2002.

Lavon is preceded in death by her parents, Julius and Nova Herrmann, and husband Randy Lowery. She is survived by her son, Michael Hamby of Chandler, OK; granddaughter, Brittany Ranney of Mounds, OK; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Blaze, Harley, and Felicity; her siblings, Arthur Herrmann and wife Janet of Chandler, OK, Carol and husband Paul Roark of Gore, OK, Darrell and wife Brittney Herrmann of Chandler, OK; along with many other family and friends.

A celebration of Lavon’s life will be held Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Chandler. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
