Violet May Lowe
August 24, 1926 ~ February 24, 2018

On Saturday, February 24, 2018 heaven gained another angel, Violet May Lowe, age 91.

A memorial service will be held at 11 A.M. on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at the Stumpff Funeral home.

Violet was born in Hominy, OK on August 24, 1926 the daughter of Carl Fred Moore and Birdie Ellen Shook. Violet married Clarence Junior Lowe on July 24, 1945 in Bartlesville, OK.. After their marriage, they resided in Bartlesville until their deaths. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on July 24, 1995.

Violet was employed with Murphy's Steak for more than 30 years, her specialty at Murphy's was making that brown gravy to perfection, retiring in Aug. 1988.

Violet loved her family, friends and God with all her heart.

She had the gift of storytelling. The stories she told family, friends and even those she met for the first time were full of wit and humor. She loved playing board games, card games and going on car rides. If the car was moving, she was in it.

Violet is survived by her children Karen Key of Dewey, Sherry Robbins and husband David of Bartlesville, Charles Lowe of the home, Carl Lowe and wife Kathy of Bartlesville. Also, survived by her grand-children Terry Trowbridge, Jodi Stringer, Mike Robbins, Carl Lowe Jr., Buddy Williams all of Bartlesville, David Robbins Jr. of Benton, LA, and Alena Segura of Leander, TX. Also 21 great grandchildren and 6 great great-great grandchildren, one brother, Fred Moore and his wife Maureen of Shingletown, CA and numerous nieces and nephews all of whom she adored.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years and her son, Clarence Curtis (little Curtie)
