Rita L (Moore) Louis
August 13, 1938 ~ January 4, 2016

Rita Louis was born August 13, 1938 in Hobbs, New Mexico to Juanita and Perry Levelle Moore. She passed away January 4, 2016 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 77 years, 4 months and 21 days.

Rita grew up in Denver City, Texas and attended school graduating in 1957. After graduation, Rita began her family and raised her children in Plainview and Lubbock, Texas before moving to Shamrock, Texas in 1975. Rita was a barber for over 30 years and worked for the state of Texas as a barber inspector for 5 years. Rita retired ending her career in 2005 and resided in Elk City, Oklahoma and enjoyed fishing with her grandchildren, gardening, drawing and sketching, painting and spending time with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 brother, Jerry Moore.

She is survived by her 4 sons, Terry Don Louis and wife, Jo, Denver City, TX, Mike Louis and wife, Mary, Denver City, TX, Mitch Louis and wife, Sherrye, Elk City, OK and Mark Louis and wife, Sue, Irving, TX; 5 grandchildren, Ashlye Schlegel and husband, Cory, Amarillo, TX, Blaine Louis and wife, Samantha, San Antonio, TX, Taylor Louis, San Marcus, TX, Garrett Louis, Denver City, TX and Zane Louis, Cisco, TX; 4 great grandchildren and one on the way; 2 brothers, Joe Moore and wife, Janice, Ft. Davis, TX and Bob Moore and wife, Beverely, Eastland, TX and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family would like to thank and express their gratitude to the nurses and staff at Elk City Nursing Home.
