Dec. 31, 1934 ~ Feb. 1, 2015

Celebration of Life service for Billie Jean Lorenz, 80, of Enid, Okla., will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 5, 2015, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel, with Brian Meyer officiating. Visitation with family is 6-7 p.m. today, Feb. 4, at the funeral home.

Billie Jean was born Dec. 31, 1934, in Bastrop, Texas, to Homer and Lillian (Griesenbeck) Murchison and passed away Sunday, Feb. 1, 2015, in Enid.

Billie grew up in Bastrop, and married Gerald Lorenz on Feb. 26, 1955.

She attended LPN training at Autry Tech in Enid, and then retired from Bass Hospital.

Billie enjoyed boating, fishing, working in the yard, working puzzles and being with her grandkids.

She is survived by two sons, Randal and wife Rheadonna Lorenz of Enid, and Steven and wife Sandi Lorenz of Woodward; and five grandchildren, Crystal, Nicholas, Michael, Cody and Elena.

Billie was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Lillian Murchison, and brother, Robert Murchison.
