Rev. Maudie May Long, 88, resident of Bartlesville, died Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at her residence.

Memorial services will be held at 10 AM Saturday, November 9, 2013 at the Fountain of Life Tabernacle, 1412 N. Choctaw, Dewey, Oklahoma. Cremation arrangements were directed by the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.

Maudie May Long was born February 24, 1925 in Vera, Oklahoma to Thomas W. and May Elizabeth (Elkhair) Brown. She was raised and receiver her education in Copan, Oklahoma area. Mrs. Long was married to Jack Long in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Rev. Long has ministered at various churches in the Bartlesville area including the Fountain of Life Tabernacle in Dewey, Oklahoma. She has worked as a seamstress at the Plaza Cleaners and in her home.

Survivors include; one son James W. Snook and wife Delora of Copan, Oklahoma; one daughter June M. Edmison and husband Rusty of Bartlesville; four brothers Donald Brown of Collinsville, Oklahoma, Bud Brown of Skiatook, David Brown of Pryor and Charlie Brown of Copan, Oklahoma; three sisters Katherine Conklin of Coffeyville, Kansas, Mary May Ragan of Alvin, Texas and Reta Lankford of Ochelata, Oklahoma; five grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Long was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three sisters Rose Conklin, Bonnie Strickland and Ruby Matthews and two brothers Richard Brown and Jerry Brown.
