David Edward Lohmeier

June 07, 1934 ~ June 14, 2018

David Edward Lohmeier died at the age of 84 on June 14, 2018 in New Braunfels, Texas. He was born in Shickley, Nebraska on June 7, 1934 to Cletus and Marie Lohmeier. 

After graduating high school as a Regents Scholarship winner he attended St Benedicts College in Atchison, Kansas. Upon graduating in 1955 he spent two years in the army in Fort Ord, California. From there he met Charna Fritzler when they were both teaching at Benkelman High School in Benkelman Nebraska. They married in Shickley, Nebraska in 1957.

David then attended Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, Missouri and graduated in 1961. He practiced in Enid, Oklahoma from 1964 until 2003.

He was preceded in death by his wife Charna in 1982 and granddaughter Kemery in 1993.

He is survived by his sister Donna, brother-in-law Tom, nieces Debbie, Tammy and Kim, children Matthew, Mark and Kay, grandchildren Heather, Caleb, Jamie, Joey, and Kelly, and great-grandchild Austin.
