Memorial Services for Cheryl Lynn Lohmann, age 63, of Fairview, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 7, 2024 at the Fairview Nazarene Church with Reverend Randy Levings officiating. Arrangements are by Fairview Funeral Home, Inc.

Cheryl Lynn Lohmann was born September 27, 1961 in Fairview, Oklahoma to John Wesley and Jeannie (Pharis) Marlin and passed away November 25, 2024 at the Fairview Regional Medical Center in Fairview, Oklahoma. Cheryl’s wish was to donate her body for research.

Cheryl’s dad was in the United States Navy so she grew up moving all over the world with her parents. She graduated high school in Adak Alaska in 1979 and she returned to Oklahoma and started collage at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, Oklahoma. She later moved to San Diego, California and completed her Associates Degree at the National University of San Diego. In 1988 she married Bill Farley and was a mother and homemaker. In 1992 she moved back to Fairview for a short time and then moved to Rogers Arkansas. In 1997 Cheryl married John Lohmann in Rogers, Arkansas and together they started their lives. Cheryl work for Regions Bank from 1996 until 2012 when she moved to Morgan Stanly and worked there for one more year. 2013 the family moved back to Fairview, Oklahoma and she went to work for Agri Placements. In December, 2018, her husband John passed away. In 2019, Cheryl went to work for Major County District III Commissioner as the Commissioner Assistant and worked there until her death. She loved to watch Thunder games with John on TV or in Oklahoma City. Cheryl will be truly missed by all who knew her.

Left to cherish her memories are, her mother Jeannie Marlin of Fairview, Oklahoma, two sons, Brandon Joseph Farley of Anut, Missouri, and Tyler John Lohmann of Fairview and one grandson Colton Lee Lohmann of Green Brier, Arkansas.

Preceding her in death was her father John Wesley Marlin, husband John Lohmann, and her grandparents, Mabel and Floyd Pharis and Elva and Joe Marlin.

Memorials may be made to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation (OMRF) cancer division with the funeral home acting as custodian of the funds.
