He enlisted in the Army and served for four years.

Robert worked for Kerr McGee Corporation, retiring as assistant controller after 26 years.

Robert loved being on the farm, the planting and the harvest, serving God in raising his family and service as a deacon to First Baptist Church of El Reno.

Fancher and husband Gary; his two sons, Stan and wife Renee and Jerry and wife Julie; six grandchildren, Justin Lingo and wife Ashley, Matthew Campbell and wife Kristin, Jacob Lingo and wife Allie, Catherine Lingo, Jordan Lingo and Jadyn Lingo; one great-grandson, Wyatt Campbell; and one sister, Letha Bryant of Tulsa.

A memorial will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 10, 2014, at First Baptist Church of El Reno.
